Gangasagar is the biggest fair of West Bengal. This mela is held on the occasion of Makar Sankranti in mid January for three days at Sagar Dwip. The other important fair is held at the time of Dussehra. Before ten days of Diwali people worship maa durga. Dussehra mela is held at many places but the mela of West Bengal is unique from others. The Rash Mela another important fair of the state. This fair is held on the occasion Rashyatra for a month. Like these fair there are many fair which are popular fair of West Bengal .i.e. Bera Utsav, Poush Mela, Gangasagar Mela, Kenduli Mela, Jalpesh Mela and many more. You can eat different yummy eatable items also. There are different shops in the fair from where you can buy the traditional items of the state.
