Holi is the colorful festival of Hindus. It is celebrated in the season of spring. People play holi joyfully which encourage brotherhood among them. Holi is played by different colors like: red, green, yellow, blue etc. The face of each people is colored by different colors. Not only the color but people also throw the colored water on each other. Gulal, pichkari, balloons, etc is the main thing without which holi is incomplete. People forget their all sorrows and fights on this day.
Holi is a national festival of India so there is a national holiday on this day. Every state has its own different style to play holi but holi of Barsana is totally different. They play lath mar holi in which women hit men with sticks and men protect themselves with safeguard. For this day each and every house prepares types of eatable and drinking items like: gujjia, kanji ke vade, papri, bhang, dahi bada’s, mathri, sandesh, payash, saffron milk, puran poli, malpuas, laddoos, thandai, pakoras and many more.

People go to each others house to wish holi with colors. People also dance on this day on different holi songs. This is a special festival for newly married couple as there is a tradition that sweets, colors, balloons, etc comes from brides home. One can come and enjoy holi with your friends, family, relatives, etc. India welcomes on this occasion, so one can come and experience the authenticity of our country and add them into your lovely memories.
