Id-ul-Fitr is the important festival of Muslims. All the muslim people do fast around a month without having drinkable and eatable items throughout the day. The fast is known as roza. They all eat food only two times before the sunrise and after the sunset. Muslims prayer which called “Namaz” is compulsory to do 5 times in a day at the time of ramzan. The festival celebration means end of the ramzan or roza. The male worships at mosque and the female worships at home only. In India the festival is celebrated with full enthusiasm.

The festival is full of happiness. Every one is busy in the preparation of Id. The markets are decorates beautifully, people visit market to buy many things for the occasion. People go each others home to wish Id. All the muslims looks in a new clothes on the festival. Women use to put mehendi on their hands and feet before the festival. Every people made special dishes, beverages and deserts for the day like: Badam Phirni, Nawabi Biryani, Mutton Korma, Haleem, Badami Gosht, Seviyan, Sheer Korma, Sufi Malpua, Shahi Tukra and many more. Children get sweets from their elders and most important is “idi” means the money or gift given by their elder.

People forget all past fights and forgive each other on this occasion. Every one has to give charity from their wealth which is known as Zakat. This is a festival full of enjoyment, happiness, etc where all people get together for lots more fun.
