About Darjeeling
Darjeeling, meaning land of thunderbolts, is a hill station of West Bengal situated at a height of 6710 feet. It is one of the top hill stations of India and called “queen of hill stations”. The city was gifted to the East India Company by the king of Sikkim in 1817. It was a popular resort during the British rule giving the Europeans relief from scorching heat.

Darjeeling has numerous picturesque sites that give the visitors a thrilling experience. The striking view of Mount Kunchenjunga from the Tiger hill and view of Mount Everest, the highest peak of the world, on a lucky sunny day gives long lasting experience.
