Ooty Hill StationAbout Ooty Ooty is a prime hill station of India is located in Tamil Nadu state. Ooty was earlier ruled by Hoysala king, Vishnu Vardhan, in 1100 AD and later by Tipu sultan. It was developed as hill station by the British to escape from the scorching heat of the Sun. Ooty was earlier called by the name ‘Udhagamandalam’ that was changed to Ooty by the English men.
