Khajuraho is a small town located in the Bundelkhand region (Chhatarpur District) of Madhya Pradesh. It is located at the distance of about 650 km from New Delhi, the capital city of India. It is a small town but one of the most important tourist destination in India. It attracts a big number of tourists from all over the world.     Most o the temples in the Western group belong to Hindu Temples. They are Kandariya Mahadeo Temple, Chaunsath Yogini Temple, Chitragupta Temple, Vishwanatha Temple, Lakshmana Temple, Matangeshwara Temple, etc.
  • Southern Group of Temples
    Duladeo Temple and Chaturbhuja Temple are predominant temples in Southern Group.

How to Reach Khajuraho

By Air : Khajuraho is connected by daily and direct flight by Delhi, Agra, Varanasi and Kathmandu.
By Rail: The nearest railheads to arrive Khajuraho are Mahoba (65 km), Harpalpur (94 km), Satna (117 km) and Jhansi (175 km). Jhansi and Satna are convenient railheads for visitors from Delhi, Varanasi, Agra, Jaipur, Kolkata, Chennai and Mumbai.
By Road: Khajuraho is connected by regular bus services with Mahoba, Harpalpur, Satna, Jhansi, Gwalior, Agra, Jabalpur and Bhopal.
