Pushkar is a town located in the district of Ajmer in the state of Rajasthan, India. It is situated at the distance of 11 km away from Ajmer. Situated on the banks of Pushkar Lake, it is one of the oldest cities in India. It is one of the five most sacred places for Hindus. It is often called “Tirth Raj” - the King of Hindu Pilgrimage Sites in India. Being a sacred & popular pilgrimage site for Hindus, Pushkar has been also a popular destination for foreign tourists.
